At CloudFactory, we believe that talent is equally distributed, but the opportunity is not. We’re on a mission to create economic and leadership opportunities for talented people in developing nations. For companies from startup to enterprise, CloudFactory provides a tech-forward, professionally managed workforce solution for routine data work.
Join us and make a difference in the world!
As a Delivery Team Lead with CloudFactory, you will be the bridge between two sets of clients: key customers and workers. You will guide the conversations between the two clients to make sure there is alignment across the board on the work we’re doing. You will get to work with some of the coolest technology companies on a global platform!
You won’t be alone -- you will have partners to help in delivering the projects (WorkStreams) to the clients. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring small Project Teams (or Pods as we like to call them) to ensure they are making decisions that line up with the CloudFactory way of delivering amazing work back to our customers and process excellence.
You will be in charge of all aspects of the client’s life cycle starting with custom on-boarding assessments to tracking the daily run rate of hours delivered. You will need to keep track of client expectations or service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that our WorkStreams are healthy and running smoothly. Your success lies in the delight of our customers and the productivity and development of the workers.
To thrive at CloudFactory, you need to have strong personal organization and computer skills. Most of your work will be done with others online, so teamwork and good communication skills are very important as well. You must have strong English communication skills both verbal and written as most company communication is in English. You’ve also got a high EQ (emotional intelligence). You’ll need to empathize with our customers and work cross-culturally with team members across the globe.
You need to be able to solve problems quickly and effectively. If you meet a challenge, you search for solutions online and figure it out. Our environment is very fast-paced with things changing frequently. If you're not used to that or wouldn't enjoy that, then we're probably not the best place for you.
You need to be able to understand the work and that usually requires doing it first, then you can train the workers on how to do it. That means getting your hands dirty and diving into details. Fitting with us requires the ability to be flexible with working times as most of our clients are in the US with a few in Australia and Europe. Communication and collaboration with them can mean calls in the Nepal evenings.
You have experience and the ability to execute agile project management processes and industry best practices which include, but are not limited to, building and executing a project plan, monitoring and controlling project work, managing scope, managing resources, ensuring quality control, maintaining effective communication with team and all stakeholders, managing project risk, and monitoring and controlling project costs.
You are results focused. You have a strong understanding of business systems and operations strategy with an ability to effectively interpret and communicate business and technical concepts with all levels of an organization, from executives to developers. You have a bias for action.
Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. At CloudFactory, we're very intentional about our culture, so above all we're looking for an open-minded individual to learn and grow together with.
